Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover

Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover is designed to meet the clinical challenges of adhesive dressing removal where pain, peri-wound trauma and the risk of infection are a concern. Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover uses healthcare grade silicones to facilitate the quick and easy removal of stoma bags and other adhesive appliances such as medical tape and surgical adhesives. This reduces the risk of painful skin stripping and is ideal for those with fragile skin caused by health conditions or old age. Evidence has shown that the fluid in Appeel Sterile does not impact upon wound healing^¹. The unique range is available in a variety of application formats, including Appeel Sterile Liquid Sachet, Foam Applicator, Wipe and Spray.

LBF Sterile Barrier Film and LBF Barrier Cream

LBF Sterile Barrier Film uses healthcare grade silicones to protect the peri-wound area from wound exudate, which is the protein rich fluid found in a wounded area, too much of which can lead to skin maceration. LBF Sterile offers a skin friendly formulation, being alcohol, preservative, fragrance and latex free. It dries rapidly, leaving a transparent barrier that protects vulnerable skin. LBF Sterile is available in Foam Applicator, Spray and Wipe application formats. LBF Barrier Cream moisturises the skin whilst providing protection, being available in tube and individually packaged sachet varieties.

CliniSorb – activated charcoal dressing

Living with a malodorous wound can be very distressing. Studies have shown that the presence of odour and excessive exudate can lead to adverse effects on a person’s psychological state. 

This can be reduced through the application of specialist wound dressing products. 

CliniSorb is an activated charcoal dressing that provides relief by adsorbing the volatile molecules responsible for odour creation.
